Lead UI/UX 

We have a number of exciting development projects on the go at the moment and are now looking to recruit in our UI/UX team.

Our custom-built business management software has been built from the ground up, providing our internal teams with a lead generation and financial system, CRM, sales and process workflows and a direct interface to HMRC, in addition to providing our customers with a portal to access all the personal and financial information related to their accounts with us, accessible via website and mobile app.

We’re continually reviewing and enhancing this platform and have a number of new projects both underway and in the pipeline. We work with a mostly agile approach to project and system development and aim to provide all in our team with plenty of opportunities to learn and develop.

What you’ll do

You’ll play a vital role in the evolution of this platform becoming more externally focused for customers to use and interact with.  A very hands-on role with a mix of both design and development, there will also be a need to work closely with key business stakeholders, developers and testers to create an excellent and unified experience across all platforms.

In addition to this, you will:

  • Develop an excellent user experience across all platforms whilst taking into consideration the differing needs of each
  • Work on digital design projects, creating engaging layouts, content and evolving all sites visually
  • Create user journeys, content hierarchy, sketches, wireframes and mock-ups
  • Influence user research and evaluate user feedback to enhance our services
  • Develop UX designs for product specifications to support product development
  • Provide support, guidance and mentoring for UI/UX Developer

What you’ll need

  • Experience in delivering digital platforms
  • Excellent visual design skills
  • A portfolio that illustrates a varied skill set and shows passion for design
  • Experience wire framing user flows / journeys and user interface designs
  • Knowledgeable and passionate for all things digital, including latest online technologies or cloud services
  • Proficient with Adobe Creative Suite, Invision and Sketch/Balsamiq
  • Proficient in HTML/CSS & JavaScript
  • Good understanding of customer experience principles.
  • Familiar with User concepts including User Interface / User Experience / Accessibility & User Testing
